- Greek yogurt - 150 grams
- Cucumber - 1/2, grated and drained
- Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, salt, black pepper, and dried oregano.
- Coat the calamari rings in the flour mixture until evenly covered.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry the calamari in batches for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, then drain on paper towels.
- In a separate bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, and chopped dill.
- Mix the tzatziki well and season with salt to taste.
- Serve the fried calamari hot with the tzatziki on the side.
