Ingredients

  • Calamari - 400 grams, cleaned and cut into rings

  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Wooden skewers - 4, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, oregano, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the cleaned calamari rings to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill or BBQ to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread the marinated calamari onto the soaked wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until the calamari is opaque and slightly charred.
  6. Remove the skewers from the grill and sprinkle with fresh parsley before serving.
