  • Olive oil - 30 ml (about 2 tablespoons)
  • Lemon juice - 30 ml (about 2 tablespoons)
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - 60 ml (more if needed)
  • Pita bread - 2 pieces
  • Paprika - for garnish
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish

Steps

  1. In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, ground cumin, and salt.
  2. Blend the mixture until smooth, adding water gradually until the desired consistency is reached.
  3. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary, then transfer the hummus to a serving bowl.
  4. Drizzle a little olive oil on top and sprinkle with paprika and chopped parsley for garnish.
