- Dandelion greens - 200 grams
- Chard - 200 grams
- Spinach - 100 grams
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Lemon - 1, juiced
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (optional)
Steps
- Wash the dandelion greens, chard, and spinach thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt or grit.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add the greens and blanch them for about 3-4 minutes until wilted.
- Drain the greens and rinse them under cold water to stop the cooking process. Squeeze out any excess water and chop the greens coarsely.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the chopped greens to the skillet, season with salt and black pepper, and sauté for another 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and drizzle with fresh lemon juice. If desired, sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving.
- Serve warm and enjoy your delicious Horta!
