Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 300 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fresh mint - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Cucumber - 1 small, diced
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, minced garlic, parsley, mint, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
  2. Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the lamb patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the cucumber yogurt sauce by mixing diced cucumber, Greek yogurt, lemon juice, and crumbled feta in a separate bowl. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  5. Once the patties are cooked, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  6. Serve the herbed lamb burgers topped with the cucumber yogurt sauce.
