- Tahini - 100 grams
- Honey - 50 grams
- Water - 100 milliliters
- Semolina - 50 grams
- Chopped walnuts - 30 grams
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
Steps
- In a saucepan, combine water, honey, and a pinch of salt. Heat over medium heat until the honey dissolves completely.
- In a separate bowl, mix tahini, semolina, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.
- Slowly pour the hot honey-water mixture into the tahini-semolina mixture, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
- Return the mixture to the saucepan and cook over low heat, stirring constantly for about 10-12 minutes, or until it thickens and pulls away from the sides of the pan.
- Remove from heat and fold in chopped walnuts.
- Pour the mixture into a greased mold or dish and let it cool at room temperature for about 15 minutes.
