Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 250 grams
  • Ground lamb - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Tomato sauce - 100 grams
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
  • Kalamata olives - 30 grams, pitted and sliced
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, add chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add ground lamb to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula. Stir in oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
  4. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness and shape. Transfer to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  5. Spread tomato sauce evenly over the pizza dough.
  6. Top with the cooked lamb mixture, followed by crumbled feta cheese, sliced olives, and halved cherry tomatoes.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crispy.
  8. Remove from the oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley and a drizzle of lemon juice before slicing.
