- Chicken thighs - 300 grams

- Paprika - 1 teaspoon

- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Pita bread - 2 pieces
- Cucumber - 1/2, diced
- Tomato - 1, diced
- Red onion - 1/4, thinly sliced
- Tzatziki sauce - 100 grams (store-bought or homemade)
- Fresh parsley - for garnish
Steps
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
- While the chicken is marinating, prepare the vegetables by dicing the cucumber and tomato, and thinly slicing the red onion.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken thighs.
- Grill the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked and golden brown. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes.
- While the chicken is resting, warm the pita bread on the grill for about 1-2 minutes per side.
- Slice the grilled chicken into strips.
- To assemble the gyro wrap, place a few strips of chicken on each pita, add diced cucumber, tomato, red onion, and a generous dollop of tzatziki sauce.
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley for garnish and wrap the pita around the filling.
