- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Ground cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cucumber - 1/2, grated
- Avocado - 1, mashed
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Red onion - 1/2, thinly sliced
- Lettuce leaves - 4
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into two burger patties.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the burger patties for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare the avocado tzatziki by combining the grated cucumber, mashed avocado, lemon juice, olive oil, and chopped dill in a small bowl. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Once the burgers are done, remove them from the heat and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- To assemble, place a burger patty on a lettuce leaf, top with a generous spoonful of avocado tzatziki, sliced tomato, and red onion.
