  • Ground lamb - 250 grams
  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground cumin - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cucumber - 1/2, grated
  • Avocado - 1, mashed
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Tomato - 1, sliced
  • Red onion - 1/2, thinly sliced
  • Lettuce leaves - 4

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground lamb, ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well and form into two burger patties.
  2. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat and cook the burger patties for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  3. While the burgers are cooking, prepare the avocado tzatziki by combining the grated cucumber, mashed avocado, lemon juice, olive oil, and chopped dill in a small bowl. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  4. Once the burgers are done, remove them from the heat and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
