Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 250 grams
  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
  • Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
  • Tzatziki sauce - 100 grams

Steps

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the meat mixture into 2 equal-sized patties.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, prepare your toppings by slicing the cucumber and tomato, and crumbling the feta cheese.
  5. Once the burgers are done, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  6. To serve, place each patty on a large lettuce leaf, top with cucumber slices, tomato slices, feta cheese, and a generous dollop of tzatziki sauce.
  7. Wrap the lettuce around the burger like a taco and enjoy!
