Ingredients
- Ground lamb - 250 grams
- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Cucumber - 1/2, sliced
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
- Tzatziki sauce - 100 grams
Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the meat mixture into 2 equal-sized patties.
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the burgers are cooking, prepare your toppings by slicing the cucumber and tomato, and crumbling the feta cheese.
- Once the burgers are done, remove them from the skillet and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
- To serve, place each patty on a large lettuce leaf, top with cucumber slices, tomato slices, feta cheese, and a generous dollop of tzatziki sauce.
- Wrap the lettuce around the burger like a taco and enjoy!
