Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Cucumber - 50 grams, grated
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Red onion - 50 grams, thinly sliced
  • Feta cheese - 30 grams, crumbled
  • Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into strips and add to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the chicken is marinating, prepare the tzatziki sauce by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, and a pinch of salt in a bowl. Set aside in the refrigerator.
  4. Heat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken strips and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until fully cooked and golden brown.
  5. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the salad by combining cherry tomatoes, red onion, and parsley in a bowl. Drizzle with a little olive oil and toss gently.
  6. Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the grill and let it rest for a few minutes.
  7. To serve, plate the grilled chicken alongside the salad and tzatziki sauce. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top.
