Ingredients

  • Swordfish steaks - 2 (about 200g each)

  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges - 2 (for serving)

Steps

  1. In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Place the swordfish steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the swordfish from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off.
  5. Grill the swordfish steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  6. Remove the swordfish from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
