Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, cut into chunks
  • Red onion - 1 small, cut into chunks
  • Wooden skewers - 4, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Steps

  1. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized cubes and place them in a bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Pour the marinade over the chicken cubes, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  4. While the chicken marinates, cut the bell pepper and red onion into chunks.
  5. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  6. Thread the marinated chicken, bell pepper, and red onion onto the soaked wooden skewers, alternating ingredients.
  7. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  8. Remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
