- Lemon - 1, juiced
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon, freshly ground
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
Steps
- Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Slice the halloumi cheese into 1 cm thick slices.
- In a bowl, mix the olive oil, chopped oregano, chopped mint, lemon juice, and black pepper.
- Brush the halloumi slices lightly with the olive oil mixture on both sides.
- Place the halloumi slices on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and grill marks appear.
- While the halloumi is grilling, toss the halved cherry tomatoes with a pinch of salt and a drizzle of olive oil.
- Once the halloumi is grilled, remove it from the heat and serve immediately with the seasoned cherry tomatoes on the side.
