Ingredients

  • Ground pork sausage - 300 grams
  • Red bell pepper - 1 medium, diced
  • Green bell pepper - 1 medium, diced
  • Red onion - 1 medium, diced
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Wooden skewers - 4 pieces, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground pork sausage, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until the spices are evenly distributed.
  2. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  3. Take the soaked wooden skewers and begin assembling the skewers by alternately threading the sausage mixture, diced red bell pepper, green bell pepper, and red onion onto each skewer.
  4. Brush the assembled skewers with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  5. Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the sausage is cooked through and has a nice char.
  6. Once cooked, remove the skewers from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
