Ingredients

  • Ground lamb - 250 grams
  • Almond flour - 30 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Greek yogurt - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Cucumber - 1/2, grated
  • Fresh dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground lamb, almond flour, egg, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.
  3. Gently fold in the crumbled feta cheese into the meat mixture.
  4. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 2.5 cm in diameter, and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Drizzle olive oil over the meatballs to help them brown during baking.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until the meatballs are browned and cooked through.
  7. While the meatballs are baking, prepare the yogurt sauce by mixing together Greek yogurt, lemon juice, grated cucumber, and chopped dill in a small bowl. Season with salt to taste.
  8. Serve the meatballs warm with the yogurt sauce on the side.
