  • Ground beef or lamb - 200g
  • Breadcrumbs (gluten-free) - 50g
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Onion, finely chopped - 1 small
  • Oregano - 1 tsp
  • Cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp (for cooking)
  • Tomato sauce - 100g
  • Feta cheese, crumbled - 50g
  • Kalamata olives, pitted and sliced - 30g
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tbsp

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a bowl, combine ground beef or lamb, gluten-free breadcrumbs, egg, minced garlic, chopped onion, oregano, cinnamon, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about the size of a walnut.
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and cook for about 8-10 minutes, turning occasionally, until browned and cooked through. Remove from heat.
  5. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the gluten-free pizza base.
  6. Place the cooked meatballs on top of the sauce, then sprinkle crumbled feta cheese and sliced Kalamata olives over the pizza.
  7. Drizzle the remaining olive oil over the top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese has melted.
  9. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh chopped parsley before slicing and serving.
