  • tomato sauce - 1/2 cup
  • feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
  • black olives - 50 grams, sliced
  • red onion - 1/4, thinly sliced
  • bell pepper - 1/2, diced
  • fresh basil - a handful, for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, oregano, and crushed garlic.
  3. Gradually add water and 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the dry ingredients, whisking until a smooth batter forms.
  4. Line a baking tray with parchment paper and pour the batter onto the tray, spreading it evenly to form a pizza base.
  5. Bake the chickpea base in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until it starts to turn golden and firm up.
  6. Remove the base from the oven, spread tomato sauce evenly over the top, and sprinkle crumbled feta cheese, sliced olives, diced bell pepper, and red onion.
  7. Drizzle the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over the toppings.
  8. Return the pizza to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until the vegetables are tender and the cheese is slightly melted.
