- Red bell pepper (chopped) - 1 medium
- Tomato puree - 200 grams
- Fresh parsley (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
- Oregano (dried) - 1 teaspoon
- Chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Lemon (juiced) - 1 medium
Steps
- Heat the olive oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and chopped red bell pepper, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until softened.
- Add the tomato puree, dried oregano, chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
