- Feta cheese - 200 grams
- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 large
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon - 1 for zest and juice
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a mixing bowl, crumble the feta cheese and add the almond flour, egg, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Shape the mixture into small patties or squares, about 1 cm thick.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the cheese patties and fry until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Transfer the fried cheese to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes to fully warm through.
- Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice and zest before serving.
