Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 300 grams
  • Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (for cooking)

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, crumbled feta cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and egg.
  2. Mix the ingredients together until well combined, but do not overwork the meat.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
  4. Make an indentation in the center of each patty and fill it with a small amount of crumbled feta cheese. Reform the patty around the cheese to seal it inside.
  5. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties to the skillet.
  6. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness and have a nice sear.
  7. Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
