Ingredients
- Ground beef - 300 grams
- Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Egg - 1 large
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (for cooking)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, crumbled feta cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and egg.
- Mix the ingredients together until well combined, but do not overwork the meat.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Make an indentation in the center of each patty and fill it with a small amount of crumbled feta cheese. Reform the patty around the cheese to seal it inside.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the patties to the skillet.
- Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness and have a nice sear.
