Ingredients

  • Whole wheat pizza dough - 250 grams
  • Fresh spinach - 150 grams
  • Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
  • Mozzarella cheese - 75 grams, shredded
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Oregano - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/4 teaspoon (optional)
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (428°F).
  2. Roll out the whole wheat pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the rolled dough to a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  4. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Season with black pepper and oregano.
  6. Spread the wilted spinach mixture evenly over the pizza dough.
  7. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese and shredded mozzarella cheese over the spinach.
  8. Distribute the halved cherry tomatoes on top and add red pepper flakes if using.
