- Feta cheese - 200 grams
- All-purpose flour - 50 grams
- Olive oil - 4 tablespoons
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh lemon - 1 for juice
- Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- Cut the feta cheese into 1 cm thick slices and pat them dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- Spread the flour on a plate and lightly dust each slice of feta on both sides with flour, shaking off any excess.
- In a non-stick frying pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat until hot.
- Carefully place the floured feta slices in the pan and fry for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, remove the feta from the pan and place it on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
- Drizzle the fried feta slices with honey and sprinkle sesame seeds and chopped parsley on top.
- Serve immediately with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and enjoy your Feta Saganaki!
