Ingredients

  • Feta cheese - 200 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh oregano - 1 teaspoon, chopped
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Cherry tomatoes - 150 grams, halved
  • Pita bread - 2 pieces

Steps

  1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, lemon juice, chopped oregano, and black pepper.
  3. Place the feta cheese on a piece of aluminum foil, and drizzle half of the olive oil mixture over it.
  4. Wrap the feta in the foil to create a packet, and place it on the grill.
  5. Grill the feta for about 8-10 minutes, or until it is soft and slightly browned.
  6. While the feta is grilling, toss the cherry tomatoes with the remaining olive oil mixture and place them on a grill-safe pan or skewer.
  7. Grill the tomatoes for about 5-7 minutes until they are charred and blistered.
  8. Warm the pita bread on the grill for 1-2 minutes per side until soft and warm.
  9. Remove the feta and tomatoes from the grill, and serve with the warm pita bread.
