- Fresh spinach - 100 grams
- Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
- Large eggs - 4
- Heavy cream - 100 ml
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Nutmeg - a pinch
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, salt, black pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.
- Stir in the sautéed spinach mixture and crumbled feta cheese until evenly distributed.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9-inch (23 cm) pie dish or quiche pan.
