Ingredients
- Feta cheese - 200 grams, cubed
- Kalamata olives - 100 grams, pitted
- Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams
- Fresh oregano - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
- Skewers - 4 wooden or metal
Steps
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped oregano, salt, and black pepper to make a marinade.
- Add the cubed feta cheese to the marinade and gently toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- While the feta is marinating, soak wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes to prevent burning (if using metal skewers, skip this step).
- Preheat the grill to medium heat.
- On each skewer, thread a piece of marinated feta, a Kalamata olive, and a cherry tomato. Repeat until all ingredients are used.
- Place the skewers on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the feta is slightly golden and the tomatoes are blistered.
- Remove from the grill and serve warm or at room temperature.
