- Green beans - 250 grams
- Olive oil - 4 tablespoons

- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Tomatoes - 2 medium, diced
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Dill - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Water - 150 ml
Steps
- Wash and trim the green beans, removing the ends.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the chopped onion. Sauté until the onion becomes translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, salt, and black pepper, cooking for another 5 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
- Add the green beans to the skillet, stirring to combine with the tomato mixture.
- Pour in the water and bring to a simmer. Cover the skillet and cook for 20-25 minutes, or until the green beans are tender.
- Once cooked, remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley and dill. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve warm as a side dish, drizzled with a little extra olive oil if desired.
