- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Water - 100 milliliters
- Red wine vinegar - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- Wash the green beans and trim the ends.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the chopped onion. Sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute until fragrant.
- Stir in the diced tomatoes, salt, and black pepper, and let the mixture simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the green beans and water to the skillet, cover, and let it cook for about 15 minutes until the beans are tender.
- Remove the lid and stir in the red wine vinegar and chopped parsley, cooking for another 2 minutes.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary before serving warm.
