- Tomato - 1 medium, diced
- Vegetable broth - 500 ml
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Paprika - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
- Add the diced tomato, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the tomato softens.
- Incorporate the sliced cuttlefish into the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add the rice to the skillet, stirring to combine with the cuttlefish and vegetable mixture.
- Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
- Once cooked, remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
