  • Long-grain rice - 150 grams
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Tomato - 1 medium, diced
  • Vegetable broth - 500 ml
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the diced tomato, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3-4 minutes until the tomato softens.
  4. Incorporate the sliced cuttlefish into the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Add the rice to the skillet, stirring to combine with the cuttlefish and vegetable mixture.
  6. Pour in the vegetable broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15-20 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.

  8. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
