Ingredients

  • Cuttlefish - 400 grams, cleaned and cut into rings
  • Cuttlefish ink - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Cherry tomatoes - 150 grams, halved
  • Dry white wine - 100 ml
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon - 1, juiced
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the cuttlefish rings to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes until they start to turn opaque.
  5. Pour in the white wine and allow it to simmer for 2-3 minutes to reduce slightly.
  6. Add the cherry tomatoes and cuttlefish ink, stirring well to combine.
  7. Season with salt and black pepper to taste and cook for an additional 10 minutes on low heat until the cuttlefish is tender.
  8. Remove from heat, stir in lemon juice, and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
