Ingredients

  • Water - 1 liter
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Garlic (minced) - 1 clove

Steps

  1. Rinse the wild greens thoroughly under cold water to remove any dirt or grit.
  2. In a large pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil and add 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  3. Add the wild greens to the boiling water and reduce the heat to medium. Boil for about 10-12 minutes until the greens are tender.
  4. Once cooked, drain the greens and rinse them with cold water to stop the cooking process.
  5. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, and black pepper.
  6. Add the drained greens to the bowl and toss gently until well coated with the dressing.
  7. Serve warm or at room temperature as a side dish.
