Ingredients

  • Chickpea flour - 100 grams
  • Tahini - 50 grams
  • Honey - 50 grams
  • Water - 200 milliliters
  • Olive oil - 25 milliliters
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Chopped nuts (walnuts or almonds) - 30 grams
  • Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a saucepan, heat the olive oil over medium heat and add the chickpea flour, stirring continuously for about 5 minutes until it becomes fragrant and slightly golden.
  2. Gradually add the water to the saucepan, stirring to avoid lumps, and cook for another 5 minutes until it thickens.
  3. Lower the heat and add the tahini, honey, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon, mixing well until fully combined and smooth.
  4. Remove from heat and pour the mixture into a small greased dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the chopped nuts on top and gently press them in.
  6. Let it cool at room temperature for about 20 minutes before cutting into squares and serving.
