Ingredients

  • Chickpea flour - 120 grams
  • Water - 150 milliliters
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Fresh oregano - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the chickpea flour, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  2. Gradually add water and 1 tablespoon of olive oil to the dry ingredients while whisking until you have a smooth batter.
  3. Fold in the chopped parsley and oregano into the batter.
  4. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
  5. Pour half of the batter into the skillet and spread it evenly to form a round flatbread.
  6. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the bottom is golden brown, then carefully flip and cook for another 5 minutes on the other side.
  7. Repeat the process with the remaining batter to make the second flatbread.
  8. Once cooked, remove from the heat and let cool slightly before slicing and serving.
