Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 200 grams
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Chard - 200 grams, chopped
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh dill - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix almond flour, egg, and olive oil until a dough forms.
  3. Press the dough into a 20 cm (8 inch) pie dish evenly across the bottom and up the sides.
  4. In a skillet, heat a tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat, then sauté the onion until translucent, about 5 minutes.
  5. Add the minced garlic and chopped chard to the skillet; cook until the chard is wilted, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Stir in fresh dill, salt, and black pepper; remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  7. Spread the chard mixture evenly over the almond flour crust.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven, let cool for a few minutes, then slice and serve warm.
