Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 300 grams

  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Feta cheese - 50 grams, crumbled
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon (for grilling)
  • Lemon - 1, for serving

Steps

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, chopped red onion, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, crumbled feta cheese, and egg.
  2. Mix the ingredients thoroughly until well combined, then shape the mixture into two equal patties.
  3. Preheat a grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat and brush with olive oil.
  4. Grill the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and have a nice char.
  5. Remove the patties from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes.
  6. Serve the bifteki patties with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over, and enjoy them with your favorite gluten-free sides.
