  • Ground pork - 100 grams
  • Red onion, finely chopped - 50 grams
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Fresh parsley, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh mint, chopped - 1 tablespoon
  • Oregano, dried - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Feta cheese, crumbled - 50 grams
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Burger buns - 2
  • Tomato slices - 1 medium
  • Cucumber slices - 1/2 medium
  • Tzatziki sauce - 100 grams

Steps

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground pork, chopped red onion, minced garlic, parsley, mint, oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.
  2. Gently fold in the crumbled feta cheese to the meat mixture, being careful not to overmix.
  3. Divide the mixture into 2 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty, about 2.5 cm thick.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and brush with olive oil to prevent sticking.
  5. Grill the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 70°C and are nicely browned.
  6. While the burgers are cooking, prepare your burger buns by toasting them lightly on the grill for about 1-2 minutes.
  7. Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun, topped with tomato slices, cucumber slices, and a generous dollop of tzatziki sauce.
  8. Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade Bifteki Burgers!
