Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 400 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground cumin - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Bell pepper - 1 medium, cut into squares
  • Red onion - 1 medium, cut into squares
  • Wooden skewers - 4, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, dried oregano, ground cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  2. Add the beef cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the beef is marinating, prepare the vegetables by cutting the bell pepper and red onion into squares.
  4. Preheat the grill or a grill pan over medium-high heat.
  5. Thread the marinated beef, bell pepper, and red onion onto the soaked skewers, alternating between the beef and vegetables.
  6. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
  7. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
