- Tomato sauce - 200 grams
- Oregano - 1 teaspoon, dried
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Parmesan cheese - 30 grams, grated
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Cook the ziti pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water for 8-10 minutes until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion becomes translucent.
- Add the fresh spinach to the skillet and cook until wilted, about 3-4 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked spinach mixture, crumbled feta cheese, Greek yogurt, oregano, black pepper, and salt. Mix well to create a creamy filling.
- In a large baking dish, layer half of the cooked ziti, followed by half of the spinach mixture, and then half of the tomato sauce. Repeat the layers with the remaining ziti, spinach mixture, and tomato sauce on top.
- Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese evenly over the top layer.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
