Ingredients

  • Octopus - 500 grams, cleaned and cut into pieces
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
  • Dried oregano - 1 teaspoon
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Cherry tomatoes - 200 grams, halved

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius (390 degrees Fahrenheit).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, dried oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
  3. Add the octopus pieces to the marinade and mix well to coat. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  4. In a baking dish, arrange the marinated octopus and scatter the halved cherry tomatoes around it.
  5. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  6. After 30 minutes, remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, allowing the top to brown slightly.
  7. Once done, remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
