Ingredients

  • Lamb shoulder - 300 grams
  • Potatoes - 400 grams
  • Olive oil - 3 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Fresh rosemary - 2 sprigs, chopped
  • Fresh thyme - 2 sprigs, chopped
  • Lemon - 1, juiced
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Water - 200 milliliters

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Cut the lamb into bite-sized pieces and marinate it in the herb mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Peel and cut the potatoes into wedges, then place them in a baking dish.
  5. Add the marinated lamb on top of the potatoes and pour in the water.
  6. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes.
  7. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the lamb is browned and the potatoes are tender.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with additional herbs if desired.
