Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Artichoke hearts (canned or jarred) - 150 grams, drained and chopped
  • Feta cheese - 100 grams, crumbled
  • Mozzarella cheese - 100 grams, shredded
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Fresh oregano - 1 tablespoon, chopped (or 1 teaspoon dried oregano)
  • Fresh parsley - 1 tablespoon, chopped
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Lemon zest - 1 teaspoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 220°C (430°F) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer it to a piece of parchment paper.
  3. In a bowl, combine the chopped artichoke hearts, crumbled feta cheese, shredded mozzarella, minced garlic, olive oil, oregano, parsley, lemon zest, salt, and pepper.
  4. Spread the artichoke and cheese mixture evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Carefully slide the parchment paper with the pizza onto the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes before slicing.
