Ingredients

  • Chickpea flour - 150 grams
  • Water - 250 milliliters
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Nutritional yeast - 2 tablespoons
  • Turmeric powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/4 teaspoon
  • Spinach - 100 grams, chopped
  • Cherry tomatoes - 100 grams, halved
  • Red bell pepper - 1 small, diced
  • Fresh basil - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Olives - 50 grams, pitted and sliced

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together chickpea flour, water, olive oil, nutritional yeast, turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  3. Fold in the chopped spinach, halved cherry tomatoes, diced red bell pepper, chopped basil, and sliced olives until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 20 cm (8-inch) tart pan or pie dish, spreading it evenly.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and firm to the touch.
  6. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
