Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 200 grams
  • Coconut oil - 60 grams, melted
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Canned octopus or squid - 150 grams, drained and chopped
  • Tomato paste - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Onion - 1 small, finely chopped
  • Paprika - 1 teaspoon
  • Fresh parsley - 2 tablespoons, chopped
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, melted coconut oil, egg, salt, and black pepper to form a dough.
  3. Press the dough into a greased tart pan, covering the bottom and sides evenly.
  4. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing until the onion is translucent.
  5. Stir in the canned octopus or squid, tomato paste, paprika, parsley, and lemon juice. Cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Pour the seafood mixture into the almond flour crust, spreading it evenly.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let it cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
