- Capers - 1 tablespoon, rinsed and drained
- Cucumber - 1/2, thinly sliced
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Slice the baguette into 4 equal pieces, each about 5cm thick.
- Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes, until golden and crisp.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, chopped dill, lemon juice, and black pepper, stirring until well blended.
- Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture on each toasted baguette slice.
- Top each slice with smoked salmon, a few capers, and cucumber slices.
