Ingredients
- Potatoes - 300 grams, peeled and sliced
- Smoked turkey breast - 150 grams, diced
- Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Reblochon cheese - 200 grams, sliced
- Heavy cream - 100 ml
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Fresh thyme - 1 teaspoon, chopped
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
- In a large pot, boil the sliced potatoes in salted water for about 10 minutes until slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.
- Add the diced smoked turkey breast to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes.
- In a baking dish, layer half of the boiled potatoes, followed by the turkey mixture, and then half of the reblochon cheese slices.
- Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, turkey mixture, and top with the remaining reblochon cheese.
- Drizzle the heavy cream evenly over the top, season with salt, black pepper, and sprinkle fresh thyme.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
