Ingredients

  • Potatoes - 300 grams, peeled and sliced
  • Smoked turkey breast - 150 grams, diced
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Reblochon cheese - 200 grams, sliced
  • Heavy cream - 100 ml
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh thyme - 1 teaspoon, chopped

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. In a large pot, boil the sliced potatoes in salted water for about 10 minutes until slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until translucent.
  4. Add the diced smoked turkey breast to the skillet and cook for another 5 minutes.
  5. In a baking dish, layer half of the boiled potatoes, followed by the turkey mixture, and then half of the reblochon cheese slices.
  6. Repeat the layers with the remaining potatoes, turkey mixture, and top with the remaining reblochon cheese.
  7. Drizzle the heavy cream evenly over the top, season with salt, black pepper, and sprinkle fresh thyme.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
