  • Low-fat reblochon cheese - 100 grams, sliced
  • Skimmed milk - 100 ml
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Thyme - 1 teaspoon, dried
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a pot, boil the sliced potatoes in salted water for about 10 minutes until just tender. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and leeks, cooking until the leeks are soft, about 5 minutes.
  4. In a large baking dish, layer half of the boiled potatoes, followed by half of the leek mixture, and half of the sliced reblochon cheese. Repeat the layers.
  5. Pour the skimmed milk over the layered ingredients and sprinkle with thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  6. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
