  • Smoked haddock - 200 grams
  • Shrimp - 150 grams, peeled and deveined
  • Reblochon cheese - 150 grams, sliced
  • Onion - 1 medium, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Heavy cream - 150 ml
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Fresh parsley - for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. Peel and slice the potatoes into thin rounds.
  3. In a large pot, boil the sliced potatoes in salted water for about 10 minutes until slightly tender. Drain and set aside.
  4. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking until the onion becomes translucent.
  5. Add the smoked haddock and shrimp to the skillet, cooking for another 5 minutes until the seafood is just cooked through. Season with salt and black pepper.
  6. In a baking dish, layer half of the potatoes at the bottom, followed by half of the seafood mixture, and half of the heavy cream. Repeat with the remaining potatoes, seafood, and cream.
  7. Top with slices of Reblochon cheese evenly distributed across the top.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  9. Remove from the oven and let it sit for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
