Ingredients

  • Cauliflower - 300 grams
  • Shrimp, peeled and deveined - 200 grams
  • Smoked salmon, diced - 100 grams
  • Heavy cream - 150 ml
  • Grated Gruyère cheese - 100 grams
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh dill, chopped - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Cut the cauliflower into florets and steam them until tender, about 10 minutes.
  3. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and black pepper, then remove from heat.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, mash the steamed cauliflower until smooth. Stir in the heavy cream, half of the Gruyère cheese, and chopped dill. Mix well and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. In a baking dish, layer half of the cauliflower mixture, followed by the shrimp and smoked salmon. Top with the remaining cauliflower mixture.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining Gruyère cheese on top and bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
  8. Let it cool slightly before serving. Garnish with additional fresh dill if desired.
