Ingredients

  • All-purpose flour - 100 grams
  • Almond flour - 50 grams
  • Coconut oil - 40 grams
  • Maple syrup - 30 grams
  • Cold water - 2 tablespoons
  • Apple - 1 medium, peeled and sliced
  • Almond milk - 100 milliliters
  • Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - a pinch

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, almond flour, and salt.
  3. Melt the coconut oil and mix it with the dry ingredients and maple syrup.
  4. Gradually add cold water until the dough comes together. Form into a ball, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  5. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and press it into a tart pan (about 20 cm diameter).
  6. In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond milk, cornstarch, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until smooth.
  7. Arrange the sliced apples on the tart crust, then pour the almond milk mixture over the apples.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is lightly golden.
  9. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
