- Almond flour - 50 grams
- Coconut oil - 40 grams
- Maple syrup - 30 grams
- Cold water - 2 tablespoons
- Apple - 1 medium, peeled and sliced
- Almond milk - 100 milliliters
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Ground cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, almond flour, and salt.
- Melt the coconut oil and mix it with the dry ingredients and maple syrup.
- Gradually add cold water until the dough comes together. Form into a ball, wrap in plastic, and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
- Roll out the dough on a floured surface and press it into a tart pan (about 20 cm diameter).
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond milk, cornstarch, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until smooth.
- Arrange the sliced apples on the tart crust, then pour the almond milk mixture over the apples.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is lightly golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
