- Powdered sugar - 30 grams
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Chopped hazelnuts - 20 grams (for garnish)
Steps
- Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
- Roll out the shortcrust pastry and line two individual tartlet pans (10 cm diameter) with it. Prick the base with a fork and chill for 15 minutes.
- Blind bake the pastry for 15 minutes, then remove the weights and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden. Let it cool.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the praline paste, heavy cream, egg, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until smooth.
- Pour the praline mixture into the cooled pastry shells and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the filling is set and slightly puffed.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before garnishing with chopped hazelnuts.
