  • Praline paste - 100 grams
  • Heavy cream - 100 milliliters
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Powdered sugar - 30 grams
  • Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Chopped hazelnuts - 20 grams (for garnish)

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Roll out the shortcrust pastry and line two individual tartlet pans (10 cm diameter) with it. Prick the base with a fork and chill for 15 minutes.
  3. Blind bake the pastry for 15 minutes, then remove the weights and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden. Let it cool.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the praline paste, heavy cream, egg, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Whisk until smooth.
  5. Pour the praline mixture into the cooled pastry shells and smooth the top with a spatula.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes or until the filling is set and slightly puffed.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before garnishing with chopped hazelnuts.
